Since its inception, Science at Cal has brought UC Berkeley science to the community at street fairs, community festivals, art shows, farmers’ markets, and other special events. These events are informal and often feature hands-on science activities the whole family can enjoy.

Science at Cal offers a series of four monthly public talks and lectures, offered at different times, locations, and languages in order to best serve our diverse public.
Lecture Series

Originating in 2009, the Lecture Series is the flagship series of Science at Cal. Taking place in person on Berkeley’s campus, these in-depth public science lectures feature renowned UC Berkeley researchers.
Midday Science Cafe
