Sign up for an orientation session to volunteer for Community in the Classroom! Community in the Classroom (CIC) is an elementary science role model volunteer program. Volunteers work solo or in teams to develop hands-on, grade level appropriate science lessons and take them into East Bay classrooms once a month. Last year we placed over 190 Cal students and community members in more than 90 different classrooms.
To learn more about the program, sign up and stop by one of the upcoming orientation sessions:
- Tuesday, November 30th, 12:00 — 1:30pm
- Wednesday, December 15th, 11:30am — 1:00pm
